Flexible Bone Substitute

Regenoss

Bioceramic and collagen: synergenic power

RegenOss represents an innovative concept in bone grafting. It is a collagen-hydroxyapatite composite biomaterial designed at macro- and micro-scale to promote bone regeneration.

RegenOss is available in patches and strips that can perfectly fit the anatomic curvature of the graft site. During surgery, this osteostimulative and biodegradable scaffold can be easily adapted to the dimension and shape of the defect, saving time and improving placement.

Biomimetic structure: as modelled in nature

RegenOss is a biomimetic scaffold whose structure and chemical composition make it similar to human bone.

RegenOss is manufactured through a patented process, which mimics the natural neoossification process and consists in the nucleation of magnesium-hydroxyapatite crystals on collagen fibres.

Replaced by new bone

RegenOss is highly hydrophilic and can be adapted to the lodging to create an anatomic continuity; it can quickly absorb the biological fluids, molecules and cells promoting bone formation. Biomimetic porous structure guides and coordinates cells attachment and proliferation.

While serving as a scaffold to guide effective bone regeneration, RegenOss is resorbed by enzymes and cellular action over a period of 6-12 months.

INDICATIONS

Clinical applications

RegenOss is designed for use in a broad range of procedures, such as:

Scheletro RegenOss Flexible bone substitute
Combined A
Combined B
Combined D

RegenOss may be combined with autologous bone, physiological fluids, antibiotics and platelet concentrate (PRP).

RegenOss is intended to be used to fill bone gaps and voids.
It cannot replace standard procedures for the treatment of bone defects.
Moreover, it must be used with appropriate mechanical stabilisation and internal fixation devices.
